Dementia Special Care Unit

The Dementia Special Care Unit at Fairhaven is dedicated to providing a safe, structured and supportive environment for its Residents. By contributing to their environment and their companions, we believe each person with dementia will be able to live a purposeful and meaningful life.

Resident care is our first priority. Our staff has dedicated themselves to understanding what life is like for someone who has dementia. The staff has completed specialized training, not only to deal with the confusion associated with the disease, but also the importance of listening to each Resident.
