Why Visit Fairhaven?

Once it has been determined that you or a loved one needs nursing or rehabilitation care, the next step is to find the right place to receive the optimum level of care in the best possible environment. While there are no set rules for selecting a particular healthcare center, here at Fairview Healthcare Center there are a number of things we think should be considered:

  • Does the facility offer admissions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year? We do.
  • Is the facility clean? Fairhaven Healthcare Center is meticulously maintained, inside and out.
  • Do the services and amenities meet the needs of the rehab patient or family member? We offer an extensive suite of services; click here to learn more.
  • Is the staff attentive to resident needs, and are they courteous? Our staff at Fairhaven is our biggest asset; they care and contribute daily to a quality living experience.
  • Are the activity programs interesting? Do they encourage community involvement? We make a consistent, concerted effort to keep our activities schedule full and interesting—and appropriately suited to the interests of our residents and rehab patients.
  • Is the food appetizing? Are residents offered a choice of meals? We offer four dining rooms—more than some vacation resorts! The emphasis is on high-quality, nutritious meals that are presented in an attractive environment.
  • Are the buildings and grounds well maintained? Our focus is on quality of life; we have two outdoor gazebos on a well-manicured, spacious landscape in Lowell.

From our picturesque facility near the Merrimack River and just 200 yards from Lowell General Hospital, we serve the rehabilitation and long term care needs of residents and their families in the Greater Lowell Area, northeastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire including Andover, Billerica, Carlisle, Chelsmford, Concord, Dracut, Groton, Haverhill, Lawrence, Methuen, Nashua (NH), Pelham (NH), Pepperell, Salem (NH), Tewksbury, Tyngsborough, Westford, Wilmington and Windham (NH).
